Both are presets — 24 for December 1-24, or 25 if you count Christmas Day itself. Set the day count to anything from 14 up for a different countdown length.
Can each door have a pocket behind it for a small treat?
Yes — set the pocket depth above zero and the backing sheet becomes a slot-together divider, cutting a small compartment behind each door instead of opening onto a flat sheet.
What paper weight works best?
A lighter card (around 200-250gsm) for the door sheet folds and swings cleanly; a slightly heavier backing sheet (250-300gsm) holds its shape if you're using the pocket-divider option.
