How to make it
- Measure the card or item going inside, and enter that as the finished pocket width and height
- Choose a flap shape — square, rounded, pointed or cloud — and a closure (tuck, string tie or none)
- Turn on a matching liner if you'd like a second, slightly smaller sheet visible through the open flap
- Export as an SVG cut file for a cutting machine, or a true-to-size PDF to cut by hand — fold on the scored lines and glue the side tabs

What size envelope do I need for a 5×7" card?
A7 (133×184mm finished pocket) is the standard fit for a 5×7" (127×178mm) card with a little clearance — it's one of the built-in presets here, or set the exact size yourself for a snugger or looser fit.
Can I cut this on a Cricut or Silhouette?
Yes — export as SVG and it imports directly into Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio or Siser Leonardo as cut, score and fold lines on separate layers.
What's the difference between the flap shapes?
Square is the classic straight-edged flap; rounded and pointed are softer or more formal variants; cloud is a scalloped, wavy edge often used for invitations and greeting cards.
