How to make it
- Enter the bag's front width, height and gusset depth — the depth is how far the bag stands out from flat
- Choose a top edge — plain, scalloped or zigzag — and turn on handles if you'd like two holes punched in each face for a ribbon or cord
- Set a hem allowance if the top edge should fold over before it's cut
- Export as SVG for a cutting machine, or a true-to-size PDF — score the base and side folds, then glue the base and side seam

What size bag do I need for party favours?
A small "lolly bag" size around 80×130mm with a 40mm gusset suits most party favours; for anything bulkier, measure the item and add a little clearance on width and depth.
Does it include handles?
Handles are optional and off by default. Turn them on and the export punches two holes in each face of the bag, for a ribbon or cord handle you supply.
Can I use patterned paper or does it have to be plain card?
Use paper or card, with 120gsm or heavier stock for contents that need a stronger base.
